RAM

RAM stands for random access memory. It is where the data is stored.

Data flows along data lines to locations specified by the address lines.

The picture depicts transistors that are either open (a 0, no information flows) or closed (a 1, information flows.

The data can then be stored in capacitors as a charge and subsequently read.
