Final Project Requirements

 

¢ A 10 - 15 minute PowerPoint presentation will be given to the class on the assigned date.

¢ Length: 5 slides are too few;  100 slides are too many

¢ At the beginning of class the student will Email a copy to alpcentauri@gmail.com and also to my school account.

¢ Stand during the presentation

¢ Refer to refer to bullets or pictures or graphs etc on the slides.

¢ The presentation must include

      ] A cover slide with the title, date, and name of the student.

      ] An outline or table of contents for the presentation.

      ] A body that follows the outline, using

              bullets, not paragraphs

             Pictures, diagrams, and tables when appropriate.

      ] A summary of the main topics covered.

      ] Credits and Citations

¢ Be careful with clashing colors and other formatting problems - "the object of communication is to communicate"

¢ Place the number of each slide at the bottom

¢ List all references used. Each project must have at least 3 references - in addition to the text for the course
