Remote Control

Message Control

Pressing one of these buttons (1, 2, or 3) will send a message to the RCX. To make the RCX react to this message, you should use the RCX Sensor Watcher in the code.

Motor/Output Control

These buttons let you control the output ports of the RCX directly. You can control one, two, or all three outputs at the same time. For instance, by pressing A and C you can drive a module using two motors.

If an RCX program is running, these buttons will override the program.

Program Control

Use these buttons to run any one of the five RCX programs.

Beeper

Press this button to make the RCX play a beeping sound. You can use this function to check if the RCX is in range of the remote control.

Stop

Pressing this button stops any RCX program currently running.

Batteries Required

Two 1.5 volt, rechargeable or non-rechargeable.
